Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cornwall, Wears Her Wellies

We are going to have a little recap on Kate Middleton's Christmas style this week, starting the day before Christmas when she and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, went to watch Prince William play some village football. Both Kate and Harry wore the posh Le Chameau wellington boots, which are leather-lined and favoured by the very rich and country-dwelling (as opposed to the very cool and country-dwelling, who wear Hunters).

She teamed it with her awesome leather fedora, her favoured skinny jeans, a Temperley London cowl neck jumper and a furry LK Bennett coat.

She looked great. Very Sloan-country. Very appropriate. Very chic. I am actually quite impressed. This is a look that appears totally authentic on her - one that many lesser girls try and emulate and just land up looking stuffy. So very well played on day one, lady. Go Duchess.
