2012 Kids Choice Awards Red Carpet Best Dressed

This weekend's 2012 Kids Choice Awards was a pleasant fashion affair. There were a few inevitable distasters as the very young get it wrong by trying too hard. Or the older folks get it wrong by trying to hard to be young. It happens. But this time round most got it fine. With a few nice ones. Like Emma Stone's Antonio Berardi. Downplayed style, tempered by a hint of hipster edge. Perfect. Sarah Hyland from Modern Family was in a red long wrap Myne dress which had just the right combination of smart and casual. Kristen Stewart was in blue lace Stella McCartney and easily the prettiest she has ever looked. I think it is a winning look. And this new girl - Victoria Justice is her name - was adorable in a coral Elizabeth and James shorts suit. Probably my favourite of the looks.

Also looking as cute as a button was Kelly Osbourne in black floral Tony Ward with bright pink Giuseppe Zanotti heels. Now let's lose the Grey Gardens hair and we will have a real style contender in Ms Osbourne. And those foot tattoos have almost gone the way of the knee ones, so all is just getting better and better. Yay.
