Lauren Conrad Covers US GLAMOUR May 2012

So she has no top on in the photo on the cover of next month's US GLAMOUR magazine. Lauren Conrad. Laguna Beach and The Hills alum. Fashion designer. Style writer. Girl about town. Still, it's cute. She is cute. She polarises people. On the one hand she is a right piece of work. On the other she is really sweet and real.

Well, not as real as reality television would have us believe. She reveals that in the interview. Just how little of those shows was actually real. Like we thought it was. Well...apparently it was all done by text message - what to talk about in a scene. That's why they were always looking at their phones.

She also frolics about in cute dresses and bathing suits and talks about how she was made self conscious about her body by the tabloid magazines highlighting her cellulite in a photo. So she hasn't worn a cozzie for some time in LA as a result. I want to say #middleclassproblems but I actually have some sympathy for a young woman trying to come to terms with her body in the glaring spotlight.

The pictures were shot by photographer Peggy Sirota. The dresses are generally from Lauren's own line Paper Crown, although they are supplemented with items from Miu Miu, Rochas and Bill Blass.
