Shot by the lovely Craig McDean, who has to be one of my favourite current fashion photographers, local Cape Town model, Katryn Kruger, graces the pages of Interview magazine dressed entirely in Stella McCartney spring/summer 12 collection.
I marvel at how incredibly quickly this young woman's career has gone from first test shoot to international magazines. It hasn't even been a year yet and she has managed to capture some pretty heavy hitter's attention.
Katryn has opened for Valentino couture. She has walked for several others including Chanel. She has featured in a campaign for Prada and now has turned her attention to editorial.
It is not every girl that can make the crossover from runway to editorial. It is two completely different disciplines and when you see a girl for the first time, you have to decide what she is best suited for. It appears that our girl Katryn, just 17 and from Durbanville, is able to do them all. Incredible.
