Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo is canny. They have taken two very different, very individual characters in the world of fashion and asked them to front the new global campaign in their own styles. They are singer and recently on our screens in Celebrity Apprentice, Cindy Lauper. And precocious child fashion blogger and purveyor of geek-chic, Tavi Gevinson.
The new campaign is launching the collaboration between Uniqlo and Irish designer Orla Kiely - you know the one who designed the dress coat that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore on Tuesday. On the money. See - I told you - clever.
You like?
PS: Can you believe that Cindy Lauper is 58 years old. Yes. 58. Brilliant.
