2012 Costume Designers Guild Awards Red Carpet: Best Dressed

Sure the red carpet of the 2012 Costume Designers Guild Awards is not as action packed as some of the other awards shows around this time. But there were a few crackers. And the carpet was purple, so... Anyhoodle. Loving the Rooney Mara fashion spectacular. Especially when she wears colour. This deep plum J.Mendel dress also has pockets. And is adorable on her. I don't feel like she is trying too hard. Lovely. Kate Beckinsale may be trying a bit harder in her sleek white-ish Vivienne Westwood gown. But she really is a lovely looking woman and this dress fits to perfection. Amber Valetta in Roland Mouret is incredibly pretty and chic. A tad on the day-wear side but a sensational dress. So I am going for Rooney Mara as the best dressed. I dare you to pick someone else. Go.
