American Music Awards 2011 Red Carpet: Metallics Rule (and The Girls)

Who runs the world? Girls! Well they do in music at the moment. The big winners of last night at the American Music Awards (AMAs) were all girls. Adele won for rock and pop but is still recovering from her throat surgery. Taylor Swift won in the country category - and the over all big one. Katy Perry set records. And Serena Gomez has hosted a million awards shows, ensnared the Bieber as her boyfriend and looked quite lovely doing it all. They, together with Heidi Klum and Julie Bowen from Modern Family, all wore metallic dresses to the awards show - BIG TREND here guys. For the fash nerds like me, Taylor was in Reem Acra, Serena in Armani and Katy in Vivienne Westwood.

And then there were the other girls who did good. Jennifer Lopez won in the Latin music category - how awesome did she look - and Nicki Minaj won a bunch of stuff too. And for once I LOVED her look. Top class Minaj. Who was your favourite?
