Let's be honest here. Are you a fan of Jessica Biel? Probs not, right? I mean, you hopefully don't actively dislike the girl, but she really is all shades of bland. Meaning we don't get her on-again relationship with Justin Timberlake. Nor really why anyone would shoot her for a fashion story in a leading magazine. But look-e here. This may just verge on awesome. J-Biel as a biker chick in the new UK Elle magazine is kinda cool. Who would have thought?
I like the blown out lighting and the 'Woodstock'quality to the shoot. I like that she is getting dirty and a bit sexy. But not in a clean, sharp, tight-dress kind of way. I like the humour in using pieces from JT's William Rast line in the shoot. And I like that we are seeing her in a way that we haven't before. Yay for everyone involved.
But hang on a minute. What's going on there on the cover? Well it is the usual nonsense isn't it. It is Jessica as we are used to seeing her. And it is as boring as hell. I do hope that people overlook the cover and pick up the issue to see all the images in the biker story. That's worth doing.
