But some of the girls bucked the trend and wore their own thing. I loved the cute red and white Preen dress that Anna Faris wore (LOVED, I said). And the super cool sequin tunic that Kerry Washington wore - by Prabal Gurung. I adore that Kerry always wears short, tight and shiny. But never all at the same time. She should be the poster girl for how to do this. And then Minka Kelly wore a very accessible little Versus dress to complete the set. What a cute night of dresses, right? Who was your favourite? It's a tough choice. But I think I am going for Kerry Washington's glitter fiesta for my wardrobe. You?

US GQ Men of the Year Awards Best Dressed
The US version of the GQ Men of the Year Awards was held in LA last week. And the big red carpet trend for the girls who went in support of the guys, was black. Little black dresses abounded. Some super sexy like the leather one-shoulder that the stunning Nicole Scherzinger wore - wowzer. Some draped and fluid like the one Ali Larter wore - with new and amazing hair. And Some pretty and embelished like the Antonio Berardi that Jessica Biel wore on her date with Justin Timberlake.
