Nicole Richie's Fashion Star On the Rise

Nicole Richie has been in New York this week promoting her new TV series, Fashion Star. It is a series that also features Elle MacPherson and Jessica Simpson and has just launched on Wednesday night on NBC channel. Nicole dazzled in the most beautiful yellow Julien McDonald silk gown for the launch, which made me go back and have a look at all the other outfits she has worn this week on the promo tour.

She kicked things off on her arrival in New York, wearing that must-have Proenza Schoeler zebra-print top, with her favourite black skinny jeans. She also wore a yellow leather flippity dress from Thakoon that is to die for - and added her own belt to the mix to make it very NR. On her first evening she headed out in her own label, Winter Kate.

Nicole continued to wear Winter Kate for her next evening engagement - that black skirt being a staple in the line. As someone who has taken to wearing her hair in a top knot, I am super-loving the hair style too. A J.Crew suit and Thomas Pink tie was for a Bravo.tv appearance with Andy Cohen and then Nicole prepared for her big night in a classic blazer, tee, House of Harlow neckpiece and Sass & Bide orange trousers, which I may love more than life itself.
