Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, Sticks It To the Olympics

Attending a function at Olympic Park in London, to kick off her patronage of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, picked up a hockey stick and showed off some impressive skills as she played around with the British Olympic men's and women's teams. Seriously get-down-and-dirty-skills. In bright red skinny jeans and a BOA hoodie.
I actually think that this is super awesome. I love that she is sporty and not afraid to get stick in. I love that she doesn't just stand around smiling, rather she grabbed a stick and risked looking silly. Only she didn't. She looked impressive. Even the Adidas representative was stunned by her display.
I wish that she had stayed in that get up. Sadly she didn't. She donned her favourite navy blazer. That was fine. The she added heels. Um, ok. And then she popped on a jaunty Olympic scarf. And landed up looking like an air hostess. A badly dressed air hostess. From the early 80s.
She hopped on an Olympic bus, took a tour and looked so very beautiful in her face. I just wished she hadn't thought it a good idea to wear that scarf. Her first major fashion fail this year. Don't you think?
