It is always fun when the peeps out there decide what the trends are, rather than the runway. Sure, they can only operate within what is available, but the winter runways weren't exactly busting with mustard knits. And yet, this festive weekend, there were not one, not two, but three different celebrities wearing it. I think we can safely say that mustard knits are a trend. And it is worth looking out for choice pieces for next winter already.
For those of you who are already bleating about not being able to wear the colour, shush, I will send you to Camp Quityor Bitchin' if I hear much more of that. All you have to do is pop on a scarf and your delightful face will look glorious, and your body will be fully on trend in the colour. Done. Bam.
Check out Kirsten Bell, Hillary Duff and Kelly Preston (and she is a red head), all rocking the colour this weekend.
